Advert Delivery - Standard vs Accelerated?

    Hi Guys,

    Just wondering which you prefer for your campaigns?

    Standard: Show ads evenly over time

    OR

    Accelerated: Show ads as quickly as possible

    I've noticed my ads showing MOST of the time but wonder if the Accelerated option would be best to get my ads shown ALL of the time!

    What do you do????

    Surely 'accelerated' will do the opposite of getting your ads shown all the time - it'll get your ads shown until your budget runs out.

    It depends a lot on your campaign requirement. If your prospects searches for your product/service whole day then its better to evenly distribute the ads otherwise accelerated one works for most of the cases.

    Why would you not want to use accelerated? Get as many clicks as you can.

    If you run out of budget, reduce your bids. That way, you get as many clicks as you possibly can for your budget...

    If nobody's searching for your term, that doesn't mean you shouldn't be bidding on the term, it just makes no difference...

    Thanks guys! I haven't been using anywhere near my daily limit - its been more like 60-70% so I think for a couple of days I'll go or the accelerated and see how I get on. I do want clicks throughout the day ideally but like CM says, I can always reduce the bids and I would like to do this if possible.

    So tomorrow for a few days I'll be going into Turbo mode!

    Just thinking about this, I think I'd prefer my ads to run out by say 9-10pm than having them run all day because lets face it, if its not shown how can it be clicked on???

    I'm trialling my main campaign on accelerated now to see how it goes

    It's up to you.

    Makes no difference to campaign performance. You will just run out of your daily budget more quickly, if you use accelerated method and that's it.

    It might be for people, who want to see quick results

    But if you run out of budget, you can cut your bids a bit, and get more clicks for the same money (and make your budget last all day)...
