Hi everyone, I am running couple of large forums, most of them with millions of posts and with thousands of outgoing links. I am wondering, what would happen to my forum's Google PR and to forum's Google ranking in general, if I've turned all currently clickable links to regular text links (unclickable text). So basically, I am contemplating getting rid of all outgoing links from my site, very much hoping that this would actually be good for my site, because I'd say 95% of all outgoing urls from my site go to low PR websites and I have a feeling this is hurting my rankings. (I used to have PR6, now I am at PR4) I don't want to do something I would later regret, so can someone give me an answer or prediction of such action?
Do not change anything since your PR4 will stay PR4. I don't think there will be Google PR update anymore. Google will ignore PR update henceforth. But if its affecting your SERP then you can edit the outgoing links. Regards
