Automated tools tend to more easily get your site penalized since Google and other search engines can usually spot an automated process quite easily....

Using SEO Techniques is very effective if you know the right ones.

If you manually use social bookmarking sites and you optimize all your submissions for your keywords then you will usually have decent results.

You should get Kontraband SEO Technique!!

It depend on the automated tools ;-) if you make a good private tool based on (random working process) then it will work on 100% , but if you use popular tools ,there is a risk for your tool investment :) Google and company catch these tools, they always leave footprints.
