Advantages and disadvantages of the ipad?

    I have a MacBook Pro and am thinking of an iPad as an auxiliary device, kind of like a BIG iPhone, lol. I never buy first generation anything though, let them work out the problems now.

    I tend to be the same with first generation. But as you say it's a bit like a big iphone so doesn't seem to have the same risk as usual if they have ironed out any problems on that.
