FrontPage is so bad that even Microsoft dropped it years ago. Forget about it.

Produces non-standard markup based on tables. Microsoft quit selling it years ago.

Microsoft front page is old and outdated. It can not compare to Dreamweaver CS4 by any means.

It's old. If you make a website using software as old as that, don't expect it to go down too well...

Frontpage still for sale, 2003 version. Microsoft has not drop this product, they just change the name to Sharepoint Design. I even agree that is not the best tool to work on websites and that Dreamweaver is much better, but frontpage has the advantage of working very well with Microsoft Sharepoint, so if you are administrating a Sharepoint site, frontpage will give you much better results and it will be easier to use than others, besides this purpose, I don't see how frontpage can be better than dreamweaver.

I have been using both Front Page and Dreamweaver for some years and they both are excellent. Please note that although Dreamweaver is definitely more feature rich than Front Page but it is also more complex to work with while Front Page is so easy you could be using that in less than an hour.

Advantage of frontpage is Zilch. Only advantage I can think of is that its toooooooo easy to use. But then maybe thats the reason it lacks features. Can be used by n00bs to start learning web designing otherwise its just cr@p.

As everyone else suggested Dreamweaver is best.

And a Ford Model T still carries the Ford name. What of it? FrontPage was dropped like 3 years ago. Just go to any store and try to buy a 2008 copy of it. You can't.

Best advantage is no doubt the feature to preview a page on the fly without having to save it first.
