Advantage of having blogs on different blog hosts??

    I have pretty well been able to ignore blogs until now. Just found out what I was missing.

    Is there an advantage of having blogs on different blog hosts rather than having them all on the same one (say blogger)?


    From the non-blog world, there would be an advantage of not having all the links coming from the same IP or IP C class.

    the main advantage is that it is a link from a different domain etc

    biggest disadvantage is that you dont have the benefit of it being hosted on your server

    If, for example, you have a multitude of blogs on Blogspot, their url's will vary in the following way: example1.blogspot.com., example2.blogspot.com... As log as there is some variation at the beginning, it will be treated as an independent link source.
