SEO is search engine optimization. you can make your site ranked in Google in a good position and by this you can get visitors. another is PPC which refers to pay per click. you have to advertise in adword or face book. by which you can sell your products. and for this advertisement you have to pay a good amount to the company
before entering the world of SEO, you must have a pale of patience, understandings and interest. seo is time consuming but rewarding. understanding? you have you understand googles algorithm (every updates) interest? you have to really on to it. seo is not a steam rice that once your tongue burn you can spit it out. you just waste you precious time if that happens.
Georgefuller was spot on. I agree with him it's time consuming and one should have lot of patience. At the end of the day it comes down to the results you can achieve. There is plenty of information online to educate yourself, but what is going to bring you business is the ability to say 'I achieved No 1 or front page rankings'. There are so many temptations out there to take short cuts, build up a good list of reliable resources and always stick to best practices. Anyone can do SEO, if they are willing to put a lot of commitment into learning and sharing.
