Hey guys, haven't posted in this section for a long time. I am coming back from my SEO information overload. Good to be back though.

    Advanced PPC Tactic:

How would you like to use your Google keyword tool to tell you the bid ammount for any keyword just like Overture used to do?

If you like this then PM me and if the response is enough I will let everyone in on this.

Actually the earlier Google KW tool could not be trusted for bids... Not sure of the new tool though, never used it for getting bids. I usually choose to ignore the bids given by Google & go with the testing results...

Overture used to do that because it was a straight bid auction: the highest bidder got first position regardless of ad quality. It was real-time data and the real bids as of that moment of all advertisers.

Google's tool is an estimate. They use a typical QS to calculate a cost estimate. If your QS is worse, you'll pay more. If it's better, you'll pay less, often much less. Also, things change all the time: new advertisers, some leaving, others advertising only at certain times or certain days, people changing their bids, some using the automatic bidding and turning it on and off. That's why it's called an estimate.

Yeah I am not sure anyone could know how much a bid would be... simply because everytime there is a new search, the auction bids change and QS changes all the time also when new competitors enter the bidding auction...

Google mentioned that higher the QA you will pay less but i observe that it does not exist because many poor quality ads in higher place with high ppc bid.

Yeah, Google leaves you scratching your head sometimes when you see some of the sites they allow, while slapping much better sites with a low QS.
