This question is asked quite often here. Some people got problems and some other not. I am still wondering too, but it seems clear that people are shared about the scam because some reported to have difficulties getting paid. I am also interested to hear people that used it.
They appear to be quite a legitimate and popular company, both the service and the affiliate services. They pay just like any other legitimate affiliate company (e.g. Clickbank).
The Key with AFF is to not promote a lot of their sites at once. They have like 35+ sites from the last time I worked with them. The problem with promoting a lot of their sites at once is that their payout is set at $50.00. If you have $45 in commissions on one site, and $15 commissions on another site, they do not pay. They will only pay with the commissions reach $50 at a single site. On the other hand, if you are good at getting people to sign up, then you are golden. They pay on time, and they pay what you are owed. You just have to watch them changing your account from the free signup to the paid signups if your conversion ratio is low. I have never NOT been paid by AFF when the correct time came, so No, they are NOT a scam and do pay what they say they are going to pay.
If you are right, I think you got the answer why many publishers posted here that AFF is a scam. They said that they did not get paid. I do not know if they said not paid at all or just for some sites. What you said makes sense to me for the multiple sites. The comments in this thread seem quite positive.
i did a little research for you and you can check it here...http://www.articlesbase.com/communi...er-is-it-really-involved-in-a-scam-60326.html
I have a problem with them so i didnt continue to promote them... I have $20+ there but when i check my stats my earnings is $0...
You have to refer quaility leads to them or they change your account to a lower earning type. I've been paid before but now I am finding it difficult to get conversions.
Of course Adult Friend Finder is a scam. I am living proof of it. See what they wrote to me here. They refused to pay my $127 when it was due. After I complained and wrote to them, which they ignored, 3-4 months later they converted me to a percentage system. I told them that it didn't matter if they converted me NOW or not, because the $127 was due 3 months ago, and that I knew long ago that they would do this to weasel out of it, and they did, according to my prediction. Then they compromised and said they would give me half of the $127. Finally I said fine ok. Then they said my account was banned and ended communication with me. Is that F***ed or what?!?!?!?!?!?!?! See proof from their emails to me posted here: http://www.happierabroad.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4618 If anyone else has been scammed by AFF, file a report on www.ripoffreport.com
