AFF has that pic/geo location display to make it look like people are close by you. However, the last month or so, on my site and several other sites it doesn't geo locate me, but instead says Portland, Oregon or something like that...has anyone else seen this? I'm half way across teh US btw... -Sticks
Your IP address is registered to Oregon... Select the "Show Yourself" option in the drop-down box: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/usermap.php
try plugging your IP into http://www.arin.net/ , this will tell you who owns that IP block and where it is registered. You are probably using a National ISP with headquarters in Portland, Oregon. I hope this helps.
Unfortunately that doesn't help your sales when thousands of other surfers get the wrong geo ip also. of course, maybe they'll click on it anyway because it's eyecatching
