Adult Webmaster Or Clean Webmaster

Hello all I have a quick question do normal webmasters make more than adult webmaster or vice verse?

well, i personally think that more earning are promised with adult affiliate market but there are lots of catch in this industry and thats why "non-adult" affiliate market is more recommended.

This is my opinion.

 

Both can be equally profitable depending on your skill level and how much work you do. Adult sites use to bring big bucks but like any other niche it became flooded.

 

Definitely a flooded market. You are probably far better off promoting smaller niches and launching multiple sites in different markets. Helps you diversify and reduces your risk.

 

I agree with the above posters. It is quite a saturated market and a smaller niche with far less competition is probably better.

I'd be careful about launching too many sites at ones though as FreeKii suggested. I'm trying it right now and trust me, it takes a lot of time.

 

Good points, I have 11 sites going at one time and besides time, I forget where I left off. It is best to start one and build that before moving into more.

 

I have both adult sites and as you say clean sites. It really depends on the site, I am moving away from adult as the laws are getting stricter and stricter but most my money in the early days was from gambling, and adult sites. Now I earn alot from adult but some of my regular sites do almost as well. And as some said adult sites are getting very competitive. Even dating sites are going to no membership fees its getting so overpopulated.

I have one I will give you lol, well almost, bandwidth kills me especially for adult and competition is so tight takes forever to make money, but you will spend it on bandwidth and if you don't have the proper host you will get banned quick, plus if you have the wrong host the videos dont play well.

Hopefully you have your own server as you will need it.

 

I believe a few webmasters make more than your average adult webmaster. It all depends, one may know the industry where the other is a newbie and doesn't know much about his/her subject.

And like others said...don't launch too many sites at once.

Oh, and yes, have a reliable server host; in fact, spend hundreds of dollars on dedicated servers. Do it, and put ads on the site, as well. Do whatever you can to earn back the money you PUT into the site.

 

It really depends. If you can muscle your way to the top, then there is HUGE profit in adult sites, but then if you can't you'll just end up being like all the other crappy adult sites out there, which will earn you next to nothing. Being a 'clean' webmaster has a lot more potential in my opinion as there are so many different options available.

 

You'll need a dedicated server if you have decent traffic. Focus on niches. Niche pays.
