Adult Submissions

I received a couple submissions that where borderline pornographic and I rejected them for that reason. I have a "Society / Sexuality" category but I reserve that for serious websites relating to that material, not pornographic.

Where do you draw the line when accepting websites that deal in topics of an adult nature?

Does anyone accept those types of submissions?

I don't accept adult websites at all, and drawing the line where the issue is fuzzy is often difficult. You can get joke sites with fairly hardcore material, or dating sites that can have questionable material on them if you look closely enough.

I tend to go for an instinctual thing: would I be happy to show this site to a small child or my most prudish relative? If not, it doesn't go in.

That's a good metric that I am sure is shared by many directory owners.

I think that is the best way.
