I bought a domain name that could easily be used as a pornographic website, but instead I've decided to go the route of sex and relationship advice.

Now, what I am a bit confused about is, how do I attract more members? Do you think a site like this, with proper management, will catch on? I am in college, and many of my friends, guys and girls, have decided to join up and help me jumpstart the place.

The site is not opperational yet because the nameservers are propagating. The URL is KinkyTalks.com (Good name for this kind of site, no?)

umm .. i do not think it would be proper for giving advice but it is great along that line.

I really don't think the domain is actually a problem. It is how you promote it and build it around the niche.

    Good luck though!

Just go to directories to start with and submit the link.

The best thing is... if you know someone that can construct bots to send out emails... or opt-in emails to promote your site. I don't condone the first one but I've seen it done for adult sites at least... it's pretty common in that sphere of content.

As for using that domain, once you get enough traffic you can sell advertising.

Thank you both for the advice.

Does something like this sound appealing at all?
