It all depends on how "adult" your adult domain is. Is it an act or an object?

Adult domain + copyrighted images = Adsense ban waiting to happen

I'm not saying that a ban "will" happen, but it's more likely to occur than if you publish your own original content under a less objectionable domain name.

If a photo's copyright holder decides to complain to Google rather than to you, you'll either be banned from Adsense, removed from the Google SERPs, or both.
