Adsense is a very different model. You primary source of revenue is on a per click basis. AdToll is setup so you can sell Sponsored Ads on your site, run of network ads are designed as a filler for your ad pool. You sold no sponsored ads, hence missed out on that revenue source. Good luck to you though.
That depends on the question, I cannot say I did not see it. BUT Adtoll is not setup like adsense in that you place code on your site and forget about it (in a sense). I'd be happy to look at your site Lord_Anubis, PM me.
I think you have taken my e-mail the wrong way - perhaps my "Aussie" colloquialisms are to blame for that. You basically asked me if you could add our ad code to a whole bunch of your sites without having to add each and every site to AdToll. I was trying to explain that we are an Ad Management Service and part of using our service is having your sites listed on our directory so advertisers can book ads directly on each site. The Adsense comment was a comparison to their service where you can just add their ad code to as many sites without adding them into their system. I wasn't insulting Adsense at all I was merely trying to explain the difference between us and them. Apologies for any confusion.
ahh ok, Lord_Anubis, you would have to individually ad all the sites for approval into the directory.
You ever get one of those canned responses that "NonSense" sends you ? I have gotten a couple that did not even come anywhere close to answering my question.
We do have network ads but there might be a scenario you might not be served them depending on the ad format and more importantly the restrictions you have set up.
I put no restriction on the ads but yet i didn't see any network ads, it was just showing adtoll site banner which gives me no money even there's a click. Its just waste of a banner spot.
If you e-mail your account manager they can provide you with more info. This is the reason however we allow you to setup a DEFAULT AD... so in the case where there are no network ads, you don't want to display our network ads or just want more variety you can set up a default ad to display another networks ads... we have many publishers doing this. More info at http://blog.adtoll.com/2007/08/26/official-release-of-default-ad-feature-for-banner-ad-groups/
I wasn't insulted, I just did what you asked, . I also listed the sites I am running your ads on, as a pass thru. Listing 15+ sites would take too long, especially when most are the same (proxies), where as the companies I now use doesn't require that I do so. I also found a mistake I had made when I first set-up the sites/ads (rate card), which had not been brought to my attention when I asked for your assistance. Also who said anything about Adsense? Both Adbrite & Canep make me 50 times what I am making with Adtoll with the same impressions.
Warman did... and then I did... after you brought up AdToll's response. I was just trying to say at least you got a decent response from AdToll... which is something you do not get from the other guys.
Also, just because you don't see any from your location does not mean they are not being served Geo-targeted RONs may not appear for you if you are not in the dome region/country etc. Lord_Anubis, what mistake are you referring to? All you asked was if you could use the same ad code on multiple sites, to prevent you from creating multiple AdToll sites. (thats what I'm understanding). scoopy82, we are here helping as well aren't we.
No I didn't ask that, I wanted to know how to I could increase revenue from Adtoll's service. The whole multiple site thing came up when I listed all the sites I was using adtoll's ads on. I didn't know I had to list each site individually, I'll have to find another pass-thur ad company. The mistake was on the rate card for the ad zone I created, nothing major. @ scoopy82, I was referring to the e-mail reply I got from Adtoll. I just want to stress I am not angry at anyone, you have to ask questions to obtain knowledge. Thanks
oh ok. Is it simply a time issue that you would prefer not to list every site? Listing each site would give you much more flexibility in terms of pricing, statistics etc.
PayPal require a minimum of $20 in earnings. More information on the Publisher FAQ: http://www.adtoll.com/publishers_faq
Again the Adsense offering is very different from AdToll. The power of AdToll is in the management of your fixed price advertising.
i join AdToll but not don't know if they are good for low traffic site or not as since i lost my old domain, i have lost a huge traffic with it... and now i get only 200 to 250 visitors a day... so i dont know how much i can earn from few clicks...
