The official statement has just been released at http://blog.adtoll.com/2007/11/27/adtoll-downtime-official-statement-2/ In the next 5 minutes all the compensation will also be paid out.
Great that you are back up, but that doesn't count for much when many publishers have taken down the ads from their site. What will happen with them? What will happen with us that pays for advertising, which we ain't getting?
You let your account manager know and you work with them. If the publisher doesn't get the ads back up within 24 hours (so by 7am Wed morning AWST) then your Account Manager can refund you. This is why we compensated Advertisers the downtime plus 24 hours.
Hey, Well AdToll just seemed to go down yet again about 5minutes ago....And before that you couldn't do anything because of a "MySQL Database Connection Error". I was just adding the ad code back on my sites...And now I can't because of more downtime, If you need to get a new server which looks like what you should do I would recommend either LayeredTech.com or SoftLayer.com. Regards, Carsen K.
Adtoll did go down but as a webmaster i think we all need to understand there is no 100% uptime nothing is never perfect and this weekend we all saw something that is not perfect but we learn from our mistakes & move on im a proud member of adtoll.com & i support them My opinon on Adtoll is one of the best advertisement services I have seen! Payments are on time, really easy navagation and the best support. All e-mails are responded to within 24 hours. I give AdToll 5 stars and 2 thumbs up, A+++. Keep it up AdToll and you will be up there with Google AdBrite! Thanks
Thanks Nick we appreciate that. We are here to stay, we are serious, we do listen, we do care.... and.... we innovate, we adapt and we change. In saying that let me proudly announce the release of our new "Autopricing" feature for Publishers. Read more about it at http://blog.adtoll.com/2007/11/28/autopricing-released/
