My dissapointment was regarding the support of AdToll and where it has gone, not this thread. Things will be back on track soon I assure you. How do I know? You'll find out soon!
not incapabale, not scammers?? Does it take capability to respond to incoming emails? Does it take some special skills to refund money? Does it need any training to respond to support tickets? I have been waiting since dec to receive the refund. Absolutely nothing for over 7 weeks now. They even locked out my account and despite having sent numerous emails to fix it as I had more than $500 USD in it, not one reply was received. Obviosuly they are doing it intentionally. The advertisers have been cancelleing adtoll ads and they never bothered to refund customers. I lost more than $500 in the deal and you say they are not scammers? For heaven's sake what is the definition of a scammer then.
Understand your frustration.... do me a favour and just wait until an announcement has been made and then come see me I will assist.
Patience.... I am working with the team. I have a few private messages just give me some time. I said I would assist and I will.
UPDATE: All the Alexa Ranks have been updated, we resolving the issue with the thumbnails now. All the messages that were sent to me have been responded to... I have sorted a lot out which is great! Have faith, AdToll isnt going anywhere but up.
Thanks you so much, Dan! To let others know: I contacted Dan (DP member Ruby) and sent him a list of my issues with booking and invoice numbers. He resolved the issues and refunded me within one day. Great. Looks like things are moving to the better now. Dan promised me that there now is a support person who will answer to emails, and that there will be assigned new account managers soon. AdToll was and still is a very valuable source for getting quality traffic. Thanks
Update Feb 8 Ruby did get in tocuh with mne quickly and proceeded to resolve the issue rightaway. I did get access to my account again and have informed of the several issues which he is currently looking into. I was able to access my account balance, thanks to prompt and personal response of Ruby. The site is also looking to be better with all theumbnails working and ad rates reflecting changes. I hope he is able to undo the damage and bring back the magic to adtoll once again just as he did initially during the launch of the website. Will update my experince further shortly.
Just to update you all we have made an official announcement on our blog that is worth reading: http://blog.adtoll.com/2009/02/10/the-president-of-adtollcom-–-dan-rucci/ This will continue to progress over the next 1-2 weeks!
I can make a final update here - All issues that were brought to Dan's attention were promptly attended to and fixed. I have bought a lot more new ads and the pervious problems such as ads not starting or not getting expected impressions appear to be history now. Dan's personal attention has always been legendary and is, once again, so. Three Cheers!!!
Thank you very much for the positive feedback. We are now well on our way to beig back on track. Those technical issues we were experiencing were actually resolved weeks ago but we have been doing more work so things are improving. We even added a host of new features! There is more coming as well so stay tuned. We currently are running a deposit bonus for all DP members so when depositing funds use the promo code DP04 and for every $20 you deposit you will get an extra $2 (10%).
I added a site as a publisher, I'll test for a month and see how things go....looks promising. How long usually to approve sites and ad spots? Thanks
Sites are reviewed within 24 hours. Sponsored Ads booked on your site are approved automatically - you have 24 hours to deny a booking.
Thanks, also just wondering: I want to offer Peel Away Ads, but my site being a wordpress theme, is there anyway a tutorial can be made on where exactly to place the code?
Not a bad idea... I might consider doing a blog entry about that. All you need to do is add the code provided in the <HEAD></HEAD> area of your site, pretty straight forward.
In between this code even though its php? <?php get_header(); ?> Code (markup): EDITED: To answer my own question, Peel Away code goes below the above code.
I am not all that familiar with the Wordpress code so can't really say, perhaps someone else can help!!??? Anyone!?
