but i am not so lucky I have lost several hundred $. my ads have vanished. refund is not forthcoming. what a bloody stupid turn of events
I applied for a account at adtoll and recieved a message that it is approved. i havent tried putting there ads in my site. i hope they are there.
today , I got paypal refund from adtoll with my advertising campaigns not update after payment . The refund have note , said that I have been banned from the Adtoll network for fraud. The funds i deposited were used and the campaigns i booked were completed without complaint. Please do not attempt to join our network again. Wondering , fraud . Also , my account banned , seems my others BIG campaigns stop . How ?
I am about to launch a major fraud complaint against Adtoll They have not been responding to my refund requests for several weeks now. My account has also stopped working with no explanation either. I am also copying Ruby, the previous owner in this message. This has crossed all limits of civil decency now IS anyone else having problems logging in? PS I can now confirm that they appear to have disabled my login with over $500 in my account. Not only have I not received a refund but it looks liek they are trying to swallow the money by denying me access to buy ads from the balance.
still nothing so time to take legal action. Just to let everyone know, I lost more than $500 in this non sense apart from peace of mind. It was my mistake to have trusted them with my money, especially so much of it but I thought they will continue to uphold the service provided by previous owners. I don't think Ruby has anything to say about this either. What a scamming bunch of shameless thieves
I had problems with them (as an advertiser) and i have received an email back from them within 48 hours so mine might be ok now its still not 100% but its better than nothing
They are going down the drain like half of us knew they would. There staff were some of the worst customer service I have ever heard, they were rude and seemed in a hurry... Probably the recession is effecting them and the owners are running away, scammers.
I agree but the new owner made a mess. I can not believe what kind of a person would think that he/she can get away wit stealing $500 from someone's pocket. I have already notified the financial institute and plan to escalate it to other concerned parties also. It was a big mistake on my part to trust my money to an organization that does not have a contact phone number. Some of the most seasoned thugs are found on the internet for sure.
Beware of AdToll! Since December I have several issues with them. Contacted them several times without getting any reply. I made some bookings, they were approved, money was taken, but ads never started. Invoices are there, but some of the bookings don't even exist in their system. I also experienced that some publisher stop showing ads after some time (which is against TOS). AdToll don't care. They have sites in their system one can book ads on, but the sites don't even exist, or sit on domain parking. What a mess!
Thank you for your post. These are exactly the same issues many here have reported and I experienced as well. They think internet is a lawless jungle with no accountability. It is a shame that Ruby has nothing to say now while a few days ago he was still defending new owners.
Now I earn neally nothing from adtoll, what a pity lol So I want to give it up and change to adbrite.
Hello everyone. I have been following this thread and I must say it is dissapointing. Everyone knows me as Dan the founder of AdToll. As you all know late last year we sold the company and since then there seems to have been issues. I knwo the owners and I can say it is not because they are incapable, they were just not ready to take on board such a big task. I have been working with them over the last 4-6 weeks to try and resolve a lot of issues and provide assistance, guidance and ideas for hot to get it back on it's feet - it IS HAPPENING. With regards to support queries not being answered, that takes me by surprise but please trust me when I say it is not a scam and the new owners are very trustworthy and are not here to rip anyone off their money. There are THINGS happening at the moment... I can not say much but expect a lot to happen with AdToll over the coming weeks including an anouncement or two. Trust me all it will put a smile on your face AND will restore your faith in the service. Keep an eye on the AdToll blog over the next week.
Thanks for reply, Dan. How can this thread be dissapointing? Peoples are telling about their bad experiences with AdToll. Trying to get any answer from AdTolls support over a couple of weeks without success is what I call dissapointing. I hope that AdToll will get better again, though. I want my issues to be solved. Thanks
