Also, your account activation email went straight into my SPAM box. You might want to check how you are sending this email. I see that you are using PHP. In my experience, it is recomended to send email out over SMTP rather then using PHP's mail() function if that iswhat you are doing. good luck!
We are not a keywords based service nor did we want to be or intend to be. Our service is actually ad managementand providing the tools and backend office for webmasters to effectively sell advertising on their sites. We actually have a search engine or two using the service and they are not doing all that bad but at the end of the day it depends on what you are looking for and whether what we can offer fits your needs. Regarding the e-mails... yes we are using mail() for the time being. We did go through many tests and constructed our headers correctly to bypass most SPAM filters but unfortunately nothings perfect. When a user signs up they do not have to confirm their account with an activation link/code so it wasn't a huge priority for us.
I understand. Thanks for the feedback. Yeah. I understand you are not trying to be a keyword based advertising solution, basically just wondering if it was an option so to speak. While this service wouldn't fit what I am looking for, it does have huge opportunities for a site that depends on the users visiting their actual site rather then data being streamed across the vastness of the internet I'll keep your site in mind if I ever go to content based websitse!
If you have an ad style available that would work for AdverCash.net, and dont mind incentive clicks (users must view the site for at least 30 seconds), shoot me a PM!
Just to let everyone know we have added a $20 option to the Run of Network bookings. The min. booking was previously $50 which a lot of people were too hesitant to commit to. The new $20 min. means you can commit a smaller amount to have a go! https://www.adtoll.com/book_ad.php?ron=y
Well, I spent the evening sigining up for adtoll and attempting to put the ads on my site. I run a script for my ads, so I can edit them in directly from my control panel. Strangely enough, the ads were always mucked up. The banner ad was shifted far to the right, and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to center (where my current bidvertiser ad is). Also, the post ad (120x240) is supposed to be floated inside each of my posts. Without changing my CSS code or anything, the ad appeared on top of my post, and once again shifted far to the right. I've never had this problem with any other ad network I've tried thus far. While I'd really like to give AdToll a shot, I can't have a website that's horribly mucked up while I try and debug this. The site I was placing them on is the first link in my signature. To see the "post" ad, you need to click on one of the articles so it takes you to a single-story page.
Your sites CSS and coding is obviously affecting the display of the ad groups which you'd have to spend time and debug. Or perhaps put the ad groups into frames where your sites CSS can not affect the display. Maybe create a development screen to use for you debugging etc...
Unfortunately my knowledge of css is sorely lacking, and I'm hesitant to use iframes, as I've got enough javascript on my site already.
Well, I decided to do some more digging today, and wound up putting the ads in iframes. So far they look pretty good, we'll see how it performs
sometimes my ad picks up the css or it is hard to position them.the iframe fixes that. now you just have to work on centering the rest of your site.
Hi I am sure this has already been covered but I cant see it anywhere. I am interested in signing up as a publisher and advertiser but can you tell me if running ads if against googles TOCs please. Thanks
Iframes are the way to go to stop your CSS affecting the ads and it also means that your page can load without the loading time of the ads impacting on it.
Just to let you all know today we processed our first payment to publishers. Quite a few were paid to PayPal.... all cheques will be leaving tomorrow.
