I never got any email from you! and I never ever deleted my ad groups why would i do that if i was earning good?
I did send an e-mail, I wouldn't lie about that and yes when we checked your site there were no ad groups running. I have no reason to lie about it, we want publishers we don't want to ban people for no reason however we must protect the quality of our network.
Well I can confirm that yes people are making money and a few publishers are doing extremely well already having earnt mid $xxx in 2 weeks. Your success is really in your hands and if you work with us and have the right things in place you will generally do well.
I know you have to protect your advertisers just like any other business on the web. I didn't say it was wrong to ban him.
An advertiser has blogged about their experience, it's worth a read - http://www.adsenseshack.com/alternate-ad-programs/adtoll-run-of-network-advertising/
Hmm maybe I will try this if AdBrite don't is a success. How is't for small websites with around 10 000 uniques/month going there?
We have a lot of websites that fall into that category and quite a few are doing well. Success does depend on a number of things such as traffic but its what you make of it... if you spend the time and market your available advertising and get some momentum it can work for you. Like anything you get out what you put in.
We do have an affiliate program yes... all the information you need is in the Publisher FAQ @ http://www.adtoll.com/publishers.php
This looks like it might be promising so I'm going to give it a try. I signed up and set up a site for publisher (just waiting for approval), and I'm going to see how it goes. If all goes well I might write up a nice blog review for the site.
Absolutely as long as your site isn't 90% ads and you have youw own domain. We do maintain a certain level of quality within our direcctory to protect our advertisers.
I don't think I can post links yet, since I'm still a newbie XD But it got approved last night. Though, quick question, how long does it take for RON ads to show up? I still only have the AdToll ad (with 120x60 button).
Hey there.... RON ads appear when there is one that suits your ad group. There are RONs running but a lot of them are targeted. To be honest at the present time you are better off running another size as there isn't much running in the 120x60 size.
Ruby, I am currently developing a search engine that is dedicated to individual sites. Part of the free account I offer will come with a advertising slot. I have a templating engine and API that I am working on for it (pull search results directly into users actual site). I was originally planning on usuing google adsense as ads, and they have the max 3 ads per page. Well, if a user is pulling data from my api, and already has ads it could easily go above 3 ads, as well as possible other conflicts within google itself. With that being said, the user would have to post the query to my site (and design a template that makes it look like theirs), then have the link go back to their site. With your ad service, I think this could be avoided, and all queries could be pulled directly from my server to theirs (along with the addition of your ads). These ads would probobly need to be pulled straight from the RON, because if a person see's the ad "advertise here" on someone elses sites, it would advertise "truly" on my site and not theirs (or their search results). What I would really want to see is a way for on my site to submit advertisements for keywords. Then when X site performs a query I could feed that query to your system and show the ads for users who bought that particular keyword. Am I going outside the scope of your system on this one? Thank you for any insightful feedback.
