We have plenty of publishers and we record clicks.... remember if its a click on a default ad that's not a click, so it won't register. Clicks only register if its a click on an ad, not a default ad.
I find it a little confusing how people think clicks are not being counted.... I use AdToll for my own sites and the clicks are being counted fine. We also have plenty of publishers who haven't complained and in fact praised us.
Yes some of the banner ads do not have any network ads booked currently .... we have a lot more text ads booked so you might have more success with those initially.
That's funny your site seems to be doing quite well ... http://www.adtoll.com/rate_card.php?sid=230 Remember also we do have click fraud monitoring and we do have things in place like IP click frequency capping etc.... what you think might be a valid click may in fact not be.
Because the clicks were registered by my stats after I changed to the micro button, in other words, after they started showing only real ads instead of the flashy green adtoll ads. I can see the difference between a click on the ad and on the "your ad here" link like this: http://adclick.adtoll.com/click.php 4 0.314% 1275 482 http://www.adtoll.com/rate_card.php 2 0.157% 1275 482 Code (markup): And I'm also quite positive I'm not clicking on my own ads. Never have, never will. I was thinking of adding text ads as well, but my doubts about clicks being registered properly are holding me back at the moment.
OK thats GOOD information! Can you tell me what IP addresses those clicks originated from? Also what day?
I'm sorry, I'm unable to track the IP adresses in my stats. What I gave you is all the information I got, except the date of course, which was yesterday, July 29th. O, and this, but I don't think that means much to you: my nightstand: your guide to sensual pleasure - sensual tips, toys and humor 1 4.76 21 my nightstand: your guide to sensual pleasure - an ecchi blog 1 3.70 27 my nightstand: your guide to sensual pleasure - march 2007 2 2.99 67 Code (markup): (these were the 4 ad clicks)
I can't investigate without IP addresses.... those 4 clicks could have come from the one IP address for example or from an anonymous proxy. If you can supply the IP addresses I can investigate.
Also keep in mind that if they were network ads they weer clicked on, which probably were we only accept them if they come from our Tier 1 network.... so North America, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand. If those 4 clicks originated outside that area then they are filtered out. We do this to protect our advertisers from click fraud.... most of the clicks originating outside those areas are fraudulent and non-converting. Thats assuming the network ad was aimed at the Tier 1 network.... of which most are.
You'll find most networks like this including Adengage.... its done to protect advertisers. However if the network ad was targeted at say India then yes you'd be paid for those. This is VERY clear in our FAQ and Terms of Service.
i use adengage.com normally and i have many clicks and i used urs for a day and didnt get that many clicks plus they were quite low paying neways thats ok maybe in future ill use ull agn
I received 3 more clicks, 2 of them got registered this time. I have a horrible click through rate but that doesn't surprise me, the ads are of target for my website. Later on when I have more time I'll give the textads a shot and incorporate the cardlet into my website. Thanks for your thorough explanation about which clicks count and which don't.
i just signed up on the site as an advertiser...looks nice....i used pay per click for a little while but it wasn't for me.... i look forward to testing on your network. eric
