AdText Generator Review (From banner advertisement)

I have seen the banner advertisement on Digital Point for awhile and wanted to mention that I do not recommend it. I hope this review will save you folks money.

I decided to try it, cost me $200, and feel scammed.

    Software

It not only requires Windows (EXE File) and Internet Access to their servers, but also an active user ID to run your software. I feel this is less safe and something that could have easily been done with Web 2.0. I didn't realize it was a download until after buying it.

    Features

It claims to automatically design great advertisements for you. What it doesn't say is that it just STEALS the first results from Google word for word (including title).

Example? I tried the word "Poster" and it recommended I make my title AllPosters.com and copied their advertisement exactly.

Additionally, you still have to enter all the same information as you would on Google AdSense so in reality it does nothing automatically for you - actually it does LESS because it doesn't suggest keywords even.

    Cost
It costed $200 but I am trying to talk with the owner if a refund is possible because they LIED about being an official AdSense partner on their advertisement.

Well, that is all. If you see the ad, don't even bother clicking it. Especially don't buy it. That's my opinion. The idea is there, I like the idea, I just hope someone will make a better one (there might be already?).

Thanks so much for this review - just received a newsletter promoting this - it seemed to good to be true, and sure enough, looks like it is!

If anyone knows of a tool that does genuinely do this, or something similar, then I'd be keen to know about it...

Ummmm... how on earth did you not know that it was desktop software before you bought? Did you not do ANY research? Or watch any of the videos that clearly show a desktop app being used?

The whole idea behind ATG is that it tells you what the high CTR ads are. Then it's up to YOU TO DO BETTER. It never claimed (that I know of anyway) to "design" ads for you. It shows you what's already working. This is what every successful PPC marketer that I know, already does - analyze the competition and see if you can do better than them. ATG just makes it a whole lot faster & easier.

Come on people, use your brains before you complain about a product. Plus, have you never heard of a refund policy? No way did you "lose" $200 on this unless you just plain didn't bother to ask for a refund. If that's the case, who's fault is it?

ATG is not my product btw, I just think it's really good software that does just what it claims (as far as features go I mean. Anything that promises instant riches from software without work involved, is full of it.)

    Jonathan

    P.S.

ATG2 is coming out any second and is huge leaps beyond v1.
