For the past 2 weeks my VTR had gradually decreased, along with my eCPM. For the past couple of days my VTR has hit rock bottom at 0%, emailed my account manager but no reply.
THAT'S WHAT THEY DO. They hook you with higher cpm in the beginning and then drop. They do pay if you can ever reach the payment amount, but when they lower the CPM to almost nothing chances are you'll have to wait 6 months before a payment.
Hi I can assure you, this is not what we do. @Nyte has been put in touch with his account manager, and his issues will be resolved. @Supeadupa80, please get in touch with your account manager or email me directly StefanieATadstractDOTcom. We can help you with your issues. As you can see from this very thread, there are many publishers who are earning a lot of money with video ads and AdStract. If you contact your account manager, they can give optimization tips to help you increase revenues. regards Stef
Yes, payment received on Wednesday, August 10, but i know that adstract not send the payment at all publishers on the same time.
thanks for your answer... it's weird... im not getting my payment yet, are you using paypal as payment method?
Yes, paypal, and never i not received the payment after 10 at any month, always from 4 to 10 Contact your acc manager, at any delay i contact the acc manager to ask info about the payment.
July earnings you wont get paid untill 10th September - Payments are net 40 So the payments made few days ago were for june earning
Some people here were right.. they do lower the eCPM after you have earn some money. It's sad because they seemed a good network.
Dont be too certain - i have been using these for quite a few months and the rates have stayed about the same. However granted the rates during August have dropped ALOT but im told this is becuase august is a slow months so we'll have to wait and see
FYI, I am working with Adstract for 2 years now, (on and off due to my internal reasons), and I know personally some of the guys there, there is no way they will play games with the CPM. I am also working with another 3 networks including Google, they are all very slow right now -- exactly like Aug 2010 talpaper
Hi, My name is Liat, and I am the Publishers Director at AdStract Network. I would like to refer to the discussion above, and sort out the issue. First of all - we are not lowering the eCPM of our publishers or the VTR. We see the relationship with our publishers as a partnership - we all have the same goals, and we are working hard on optimizing our publishers traffic and finding the best campaigns. As Tykestv wrote - august is indeed a slow month in the online advertising industry, and especially on the brand advertising side (by the way, same goes for January and February), vs CPA networks, that always have offers. Video advertising is brand advertising, and at this time of year, there are less video ads, and more display. the display ads are based on CPM, so therefore the VTR is decreasing. This is because there are not many videos, but you receive payment for the impressions you send, and not by the video views. Our account managers are very pro active, and working on each publisher's account that is not performing well, giving tips and advice how to increase earnings. Each publisher has a dedicated account manager, which he can contact - the contact details are on your account. If there are any further issues, please don't hesitate to write to: info AT adstract DOT com I am receiving these e-mails and will be happy to assist. And last - you are welcome to come and meet us in person at the coming Affiliate Summit in New York, August 21-23. Kind regards, Liat
