I regret to have to make this post, but when you don't do your research before you spend your money on the internet, you run a risk. Well, I did just that.
I purchased CL Auto Poster through adsoncraigs.com.
I received a program that will install, but will not run/execute.
The only support opportunity is through support@adsoncraigs.com
but there is nobody answering my emails.
After further research, I found this post:

which clearly states that there is a problem. Looks like the programmer coded something to tell the poor sap customer who bought through adsoncraigs that they have just been taken.
Derek Boris who run adsoncraigs, claims to own the product, but the (only) programer Yuri, actually seem to own it. Clearly they are fighting over rights to the product.
Nobody is answering my emails, and I'm totally p.o'd. Don't these people understand the value of customer relations? Seems not.

There was a forum at adsoncraigs.com/forum, but all you get is down for maintenance. I think really it's down for good for damage control.
It's a bum, really. All those products on adsoncraigs, and nobody to support it.
I guess greed and egos have gotten the best of adsoncraigs.
Adsoncraigs and CL Auto Poster, may they rest in peace.
BTW, I'm still waiting for my refund. Duh!

 

Sorry to hear about that! Do not waste your money on EasyAdSuite either, as their customer service is slim to none too!

 

I recently wrote to Yury and asked for help.
Trust me, I didn't fabricate this message.
He states that CL poster was sold illegally to me through adsoncraigs.
and unfortunately doesn't offer help for the product.

Same thing happened to me guys. Unfortunately I have already recommended the software to over 1000 of my virtual tour providers. I also had the liberty of speaking with Derick. You can too!

They put blame on each other,who owns what, who is selling illegally and so fourth.I did not get it from CL ads, but from a real paid for site!One that some body pays for. Bottom line is that the whole program is a complete scam, as it does not work at all.I have went through and done every suggestion that was stated would or might cause an issue for use, and nothing. Will not open will not do anything at all.Will not even register as a running program.I have also tried to contact support, and surprise nothing,so to say that CL ads selling are being sold illegally and that's why you get no response from those sales is just a down right lie, cause the real web site does the same thing too! Do not purchase anything from adsoncraigs.com there updates will soon not work and there product is going down the tube. I don't know who to believe.(sigh) Has anyone had any success with any sort of CL automatic poster?

 

Just found this forum. I, too, was ripped off by www.adsoncraigs.com. I'm mad as hell and want to do something about it. I want to propose the following:

1) Investigate a class-action law suit. There might be enough of us to band together and get our money back (or at least some of it).

2) Start a site called 'Class-Action Central' where we can join and share our stories about our misfortune, but more importantly, keep a tab on those who wish to pursue the class-action suit above.

Any takers? Anyone else wish to go with me on this journey?

 

To clear this whole mess up: AdsOnCraigs has fired our programmer and clearly he is upset about that. We now have a new(and much more experienced) programming team. Our software was updated as of 12/9/2009 and has many improvements than any past version. If you are a paying customer then simply PM me and I will link you to the latest update. Be sure to include your registration ID in your message or you will be ignored.

My question is: Does it really work?
Who should I buy it from? AdsonCraigs.com or Yuri/Captchaking?

For the record. Just yesterday I was notified by adsoncraigs of an update to the software (in a private message here.)
Being a risk taker and adventurer, (after scanning for virus) I ran the update program that was offered.
Results: I got past the primary problem for my original install (failure to launch)
And with my reg code, I was able to get past "this is a demo"
So, my adsoncraigs program is now working (running), Thank you.

So, I'm invested in adsoncraigs, and I will see how it will work for me
If nothing else, I have an ad management system that takes the burden away
from trying to manage ads in a database program. I tried --->Hassle

As noted above in this thread, I had an email exchange with Yuri. I was
disappointing that he didn't offer a solution (other than ask for my money)
Yuri is obviously not the salesman
Something I believe in is full disclosure. If the internet alone can't do this

You should check out captchaking.com. Here are the claims:
1) bypass captcha on ANY third party program.
2) Reviewing the FAQ, you find:

So, currently, things read like there is not a problem. Is everybody chummy? I hope so.
So, the original programmer (Yuri) for adsoncraigs in now working on captchaking.
And captchaking is partnered with adsoncraigs. So, beyond that....

I would like to recommend to adsoncraigs to reopen the forum adsoncraigs.com/forum.
I tried that and all you get is "down for maintenance". Had I seen that before making
my purchase, I would have run off.

I'm going to go try to make my CL Auto Poster make me some money.

Captchaking.com does not work with adsoncraigs.com. Adsoncraigs is a scam, they have stolen Yury's software and are trying to resell it as there own. Its not theres and never will be. Adsoncraigs.com will soon be obsolete. If you want software that works and would like to utilize captchaking.com's service that helps with captcha recognition contact us at captchaking.cm for more details. We have the latest addons and updates. Things adsoncraigs.com will never be able to offer.

Below is the truth about whats going on with adsoncraigs.com

Let me describe the situation: Derek Boris (adsoncraigs.com's owner) doesn’t own the program he sold (I own it), he only distributed it (if you right click on the help page in the program and select properties you can see not "adsoncraigs.com", but “yuskis.info”(or "aocdbs.info" in the cracked version).

Adsoncraigs.com can't sell legal copies of this program anymore and update the program. There is cracked version on the site now, as well as update (adsoncraigs.com/update.exe) it sends now to everyone. Adsoncraigs.com version has no registration key check and you can input any registration id (for. ex AAAAAAAA00000000 or BBBBCCCC0123456789) under settings tab and restart the program.

As Derek hasn't program's sources, the program won't be updating (although he promised this in the agreement here) and his cracked version will be unworkable soon.

You should request refund. You can find link for this in your payment confirmation, which can be found here plimus.com/jsp/find_shopper_order.jsp
You can also contact plimus.com/contacts.shtml , if you have problems with refund

Keep in mind: plimus.com (the payment processor) reviews/participates in the refund process too. If plimus can see the vendor can't help you with the program, then they do refund. A year or two ago I bought a couple of these CL posting programs. They each worked for 3-4 weeks and then CL caught on to them and they became worthless. CL was very good at catching and shutting down spammers and has only gotten better, as far as I know. What is different about this software that will cause it to work more than a month or two?

 

Yeah, they are pretty good at it, what's different is I update it when they change it. It's already happened once, but my software is very modular and object oriented, so changes to their structure don't take too long to fix. I had a new working version out that same day.

 

I went to your link and the software only seems to be available to post on CL dating sites? What if I wanted to post items for sale?
