Adsense's income is decreasing as time passed

I am not sure if anybody has noticed this trend. As my site is getting mature, my adsense income is getting less per month. The assumption is that my audience is about the same and slightly increased.
This is somewhat frustrating because there are almost the same ads displayed every time I visited.

Have that problem on my Corrs site, I dont have enough daily new visitors since the band is mostly inactive at the moment. I've got a lot of regular daily visitors (2-3k) but they see mostly the same ads so earnings are small. I need a contant flow of new visitors for clicks and earnings to stay at a decent level on that site. Going to finally get the whole thing redesigned now...SEO was unknown a million years ago when the site was designed.

Is your CTR% going down or only the rate of your income?

You can try adding images close to the ads, and also adding multiple colors to your ad links/text so it changes each time. Google lets you add up to four color variations.

You might want to try other types of ad networks too? CPM networks or CPA networks?

yea your visitors have probably clicked all the adsense links which interest them. Aim for some new visitors and even some new pages aimed at different keywords

I've noticed it as well and I am currently working to bring new visitors to my website. It's frustrating actually when you are doing all the hard work and all of a sudden everything goes in the opposite direction.

To keep ads fresh you have to keep your content fresh. Throw up a blog and find different things to talk about. My blog sites use word press with a custom front end that users see.

There could some smartpricing involved here. Perhaps the ads are not converting very well, so you are seeing a slight drop in CPC.

Have you tried moving your ads into different places? That usually helps me when things slow down. I think they get 'used to' things being there and ignore them... then when you change the ad position, they are like, "wow, is this new?" and get all click happy.

Or maybe it's just seasonal...some sites are more effected by some months just producing more income then others. For example christmas sites are very seasonal ofcourse..
