Hey there, I run a blog over at http://www.methodsreporter.com where Graduate journalism students at Northwestern publish our stories about Chicago throughout the year. I just noticed today that some jackass at adsenserush.net is stealing everything we post and running it as is on his site without credit or permission. I've reported him to Google because his site is total MFA. I'm guessing he reads these forums. What can we do to shut down people like this? My writer's story: http://www.methodsreporter.com/2006...urals-puerto-rican-arts-and-culture/#comments His page: http://www.adsenserush.net/gentrification/humboldt-park-murals-feel-struggle-of-changing-community
I cannot see the other site but you did mentioned that yours is a blog right ? And it is based on Wordpress ? Do you think it is possible that he is just syndicating your RSS feed ?
I think he was just grabbing my feed. I thought about how to address that, and honestly I realized I didn't have any real use for a feed to begin with. So I shut it down. I do think he might have shut down his site on his own. I've outed him on here and in the wordpress forums. Also I filled the comments on a few of his recent posts with the same points I made above. I also contacted Google and perhaps they got in touch with him. If I were this guy I'd be afraid of pissing off the mighty G.
