    Two questions:

Is it true that the higher the PR of your site, the higher the Adsense pay out?

Second, feedback on my ad placement would be appreciated:

    Thanks.

I am very new at this adsense thing....However I have been browsing the net for years and seen my fair share of google ads....

For one I think the ad postion is ok...However I would change the colors of it to colors that would fit the look of your site....perhaps put some images/icon's next to your google ads...

Drop the blue border line...if it's possible...or change the color...

Like I said I am new to the adsense concept...however I am not new to webpage design...

My suggestion as far as the layout is concerned:

I would use the half banner ad in your menu column at the top, and directly below it, have your category items set up to match (linked underlined titles with a description directly below). I think you'll have to widen the column to do this.

Other suggestions I have is regarding the weight of your keywords:

'Dog training' gets higher payouts and should be given more weight. 'Dog Care' should be given second greatest weight. I don't think it would be worth it to bother optimizing for your other keywords at all, expecially since they are pulling up ads for human forms of the diseases mentioned.

I would go as far as refraining from using bold, strong or h tags for your article titles, and instead making them bold with css weights... and I would start using article numbers instead of article titles to name your uri files.

I would divide all my categories into sub categories under the two main categories of 'dog training' and 'dog care' and have those terms in the category directory paths. (example: yoursite/dog-training/subcat#/article#). This will help target ads for the corresponding relevant and higher paying adwords.

P.S. I just bought a pitt bull. Are you gonna have any articles on bully breeds, laws regarding them, and bite training for aggressive puppies?

To adjust the weight for my key words, are you referring to my meta tags? Thanks.

    No, not the meta tags.

I would recommend 'dog training and dog care' for your default page, 'dog training' for the dog training categories, and 'dog care' for health and care categories, and the way you should do it is this:

    1. Have ONLY the keyphrase in the title tag
    2. Have your first line of text on the page start with the keyphrase in h1 tags
    3. In the first paragraph of the page, have the keyphrase be the very first words, and used once more in the paragraph.
    4. Use the keyphrase as much as possible on the page without looking ridiculous.
    5. Have the keyphrase in bold or strong tags twice, and in italics twice
    6. Minimize the amount of times you bold or italicise words that are not part of your keyphrase.
    7. Use the keyphrase in text that link to other pages within your site as much as possible.
    8. Use the keyphrase in the uri file name. (ex: dog-training-tips.php)
    9. Use the keyphrase in the very last line of your pages (ex: this dog training and dog care page is copyright by, etc.)
    10. Rename your images to something like: dog-care-1.jpg

Do all of that, wait a couple of days and see if the right ads come up. It's a lot of work, but worth it.

P.S. Please let me know how much your payouts improve after making the changes!

I will work in the changes over the next few days. I'm told that either way Google will take a while to crawl it for the changes anyway, will work on it and let you know. Thanks for all the hehlp.

i dont think so... it wholly depends on which topic your site is, what is the placement of site, how much well blended they are, and how you are promoting your site

So I've done some of the suggested things , and a lot of my google ad boxes are now empty, is this normal, or is there something wrong? Thanks. I've also added graphics to my adsense, however there is a border separating the ads from the graphics.
