Adsense

Adsense seems to run with no set rules. I had adsense enabled on my forum. My forum is new, and low volume. Adsense ran for over a year with no issues. Right when I hit the amount to be issued payment, they cancelled my account. Even though there was no click fraud, and it took me a year to reach that point in getting a payment. Adsense would never give me a reason why. Funny thing is, that I am an approved adwords partner with google, meaning, they allow me to set up adwords accounts, and offer me discount codes to give my clients. I have set up over 75 adwords accounts for them. I still never got any answers for why they cancelled my account.

I did research and it seems that google does this all the time. Such a shame. Now I am looking for a better way to make revenue and help my forum.

Google does seem to ban a number of AdSense accounts. At least in the past, they would send you an e-mail with a reason why.

They will only send a generic email stating:

The crazy thing is that I am a Adwords Authorized seller for them!!! I have emailed them several times asking for a specific reason and they would never give one to me. Plus it takes 3-4 weeks to get an actual response anyway.

There are many to whom Google has done this sort of thing.

AdSense is getting strict recently. Sometimes, we are unsure why the account is banned? hm.. it is hurt as our effort are wasted but take it easy because no point of appealing to Google. They will never border us.

you said there was no click fraud, what do you know about it? click fraud is not always coming from the publisher himself :)
And also you say I put adsense on my forum, well firstly this is a bad place to put it, because of the nature of forum, repeat visitors and stuff.. So at least you should have put adsense only to guest, not registered members.
Also a forum can be about anything, wasn't it about topics/threads violating adsense's tos?

Anyway, one year to reach $100 means it wasn't worth it. I hope you can appeal and start earning real money from it, it's a goldmine.

It happens to almost every other AdSense publisher, irrespective of breaking their TOS or not......gotta just get along with it, no other option!

I also want to say that, this is not a new issue. It happens regularly with a large number of people and they never get the actual cause of being banned. It is very unfortunate. :(

I tried to appeal, but never got a response. There was no reason given, and I know I didn't violate any rules. Such a shame.
