Adsense yearly seasons.

Is anyone familiar with all yearly seasons for Adsense? I had a thought to ask if eCPM is changing seasonally, I've noticed clicks values dropped by about 20% now in February 07 when I compare them with clicks from January 07. I have pretty much the same impressions numbers just the clicks pay a bit less. I understand this can be as per other reasons, just was wondering from longer term stats, if advertisers commonly adjust their investments during some months.

    "Effective CPM
Cost per 1000 impressions. From a publisher's perspective, CPM is a useful way to compare revenue across different channels and advertising programs. It is calculated by dividing total earnings by the number of impressions in thousands. For example, if a publisher earned $180 from 45,000 impressions, the CPM would equal $180/45, or $4.00. However, please keep in mind that eCPM is a reporting feature that does not represent the actual amount paid to a publisher."

i think its different for others, depending on your site niche and all. coz mine tripled this month. Feb. '07 is the best month for me in 2 yrs.

Thank you, I thought so. Maybe it's season for the sort of advertisers it's possible their clientele is actually relaxing, looking at the same number of clicks maybe good is just to come. I only started in January it's been only moth today.

In my niche it has remained pretty constant. I don't really no if there is a grea deal of seasonal flucation overall, but in indivdual niches there is potential flucuation. Like for example I'd imagine if you had a site about flowers, you would have seen a recent spike in both traffic and EPC with valentines advertisers entering the marketing.

So overall I don't think there is great deal of movement as EPC is just reflective of how much ROI advertisers can get per click, assuming that there is competition for the keywords.

Oh of course the Valentines wouldn't favor my work rather direct people off my line, perhaps also paying end of year bills as I target industry selling 1K plus items. Same number of visitors is still coming for the education. It's a good fun and interesting to watch this.
