during a google groups search for the term This adsense ad is at the top of the list: and at the bottom of the list: I thought that these kinds of ads would be not allowed in the adwords program, but apparently not. Not exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. I thought it was a little funny at first, but now I'm thinking it's just plain wrong.
What I cannot understand is why porno ads are in the AdWords program, but you cannot list AdSense code on porno sites..
Double standards in business?? Google are the good guys aren't they, lol?? I used to read a newspaper who were overly aginst prostitution, yet they used to take the advertising money of the prositutes who adverised in it's classified section. It's amazing how money can make people forget their principles.
If they allow porno ads in AdWords program, they should now show double standard for AdSense program!
I'm not so sure its they allow it. Most likely you are getting freshly submitted ads that haven't been booted yet. It seems to me they could scan the ads automatically and place some on hold right away, like a "possibly risky" pile based just on words in the content.
Google made a deal with a big porno company a while back, maybe someone will find the article doing a search on Google

You know, this is the first time I've ever seen sex related adsense ads (that I remember). I suppose I don't search for sex that much (or maybe when I do, I have tunnel vision that prevents me from seeing anything that far to the right of the screen).
Doesn't seem like it would be too hard to filter out Big Milky Boobs. I'd hate to see that show up on a coffee related site

i don't think they review every Ad... That's why it'd be better if you act positive and report this ad to google with a screen shoot instead of bad mounthing something i had the same incident but with Adbrite, i contacted them and they apologized and banned that ad, it was an mage ad for a woman kissing another woman in her chesy naked, nipples were not shown but they were both naked.!
