Does anyone else that uses this combination have issues with blog ads showing up? Is this lack of keywords to grab or is it something that can be rectified by changing some kind of code on my site?

i've never had a problem with it, even when i added adsense setting up my site before anything was posted i still had ads showing up. i always chuck a lists of sites into the competitive ad filter but i dont know if that would have anything to do with it.

it could be maybe that you have too many ads on your site so it runs out of relevant ads to display

Well I have two ad blocks on any given page, and I'd say about 40% of the time they show ads for blogging things. My blog is not that sort of niche or anything near it, so it shouldn't show that. I had this problem about a year or two ago with another blog, but didn't really care at that point as it was more of a personal endeavor. This new blog I've had for about a day and it has had more than 1k visitors already, so I'd like it to show relavent ads....

seeing it's a blog, if you have the text 'blog' frequently on the page that could be what's pushing the ads to display ads about blogging.
eg: "This is my blog called web designer blog"

that's all i can think of sorry

Thanks man, that's not it. There are NO keywords that I have put in myself that would send it to these ads. If I can't find a way around it I may have to change ad services :\ and I really don't want to do that.

Have you checked it from a different computer or using a different browser? The ads may be targeted to you and your google cookie.
