    I cant find where else to post this so I uploaded a theme on my new blog.

    http://passiveguide.com/

    there are advertisements on the side already, and sometimes adsense boxes. Is there anyway to get rid of those ads and add myself?

    anyway, if there is a better suited section please point me in that direction :) thank you

    Yup, the theme is free because it has ads in it.. It is possible that you can turn them off in the admin panel but i doubt it.

    haha, yes i tried to get rid of the adsense ad that they placed by replacing it with my adsense code, but whenever i enter it in, it never shows up.

    passiveguide.com
    its on the right bar

    <!--This is where you can insert your AdSense 160x600 ad. To remove the ad, simply delete the adsense160x600 div -->

    <div class="adsense160x600">
    <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    google_ad_client = "pub-8798923392928306";
    /* Xtremeblogg */
    google_ad_slot = "8724394453";
    google_ad_width = 160;
    google_ad_height = 600;
    //-->
    </script>
    <script type="text/javascript"
    src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
    </script>
    </div>

    </div>

    <div style="clear:both;"></div>
    <!-- end r_sidebar -->

    thats the normal one, and i replace it with mine, the exact same size, and options, and it never shows up..

    any suggestions?

    Why don't you try just replacing their adsense publisher's id with yours and see what kind of results you get?

    The pub id only.
