Adsense Won't Show Up in Wordpress

I can't seem to get my adsense to show up in my Wordpress blog. It shows up on my regular web sites.

I have made sure that the privacy setting is set to allow search engines, checked my robot.txt file to make sure that the Google adsense bot is allowed, switched out Adsense code with one that I know works, tried the Adsense code on another Wordpress blog, tried various Wordpress plugins for Adsense, etc. I must be doing something wrong.

The space where the ads are supposed to go is there, but not the text ads.

    Does anyone have suggestions?

    Thanks!

You said you tried the adsense code on another wordpress blog. Did it show up?

Also, what's your site/blog URL where you have the problem?

I'm not sure how familiar you are with wordpress theme files or codes. Some wordpress themes are much complicated to put the adsense code and some are simpler. What you can do is try using first a basic or simple wordpress theme probably the default one just to test it out.

Install javascript. Use firefox or chrome only. Could be PSA ads. Try on other websites. Sometimes, you need to wait for a few days to see the ads shown up after putting up the code.
