I cannot seem to get Adsense to show relevant ads on my site. Is there a checklist of things that could cause Adsense to show non targeted ads or no ads at all? I've had several sites before and have never had a problem getting relevant ads to show. The site is not indexed yet, but I don't think that has anything to do with it?? Also, it's not the world's most popular niche but I checked my kws in Google's external kw tool and I'm sure there are plenty of advertisers. Any ideas or suggestions?
The latest update from adsense tell us that they will show ads related to what the visitors interested in. Google will check the visitors cookies file and determine what ads will be shown to that visitor. This means that if your site is about cooking, it's possible to show a football related ads, if the visitor browsed some football sites previously.
Meta Kws: Yes Kws Targeting: <meta NAME="Keywords" Content="ashtrays, outdoor ashtrays, ashtray, glass ashtrays, cigar ashtrays, automotive ashtrays, car ashtrays, cool ashtrays, ash trays, crystal ashtrays"> So, if Google is now showing ads based off user coookies and my site is brand new with no visitors... I shouldn't have any ads showing?
