Adsense with subdomains

Hi! everybody. I want to ask you if I could use Adsense with a subdomain and not purchase a domain name . I have already an approved adsense account, but I don't know if I could do this and could have decent traffic with a subdomain or I must own a Domain name

Once you are accepted into AdSense, you can place your ads on any of your sites (as long as they comply with the TOS).
