I dont think there are any restrictions to that. Even you can use any affiliate prog of your choice.

In fact, Google Adsense TOS states somewhere that a page cannot be just constructed for the purpose of serving AdSense ads, so they actually prefer the page to have another purpose in life, for example a purpose to either show appropriate content, or to review and/or direct visitors to affiliate merchants.

I would suggest testing both AdSense and affiliate programs in the same ad space. You can do this easily with a free ad server like phpAdsNew.

Then you can see which one backs out at the best CPM for you.

I think adsense with another PPC program will be too much. IMO, you shouldnt try that, in case Google ends up blocking your adsense account.

Totally agree with Shawn. Try different perms and combs. You might be surprised with the results. Sometimes even a screensavers.com banner performs better than Adsense at some spots.

www.shoemoneyads.com is a good place to use affiliate links that look the same as adSense.

I have some advertisers that use both CJ and adsense, and there is a real possibility they may show an adsense ad along with the affiliate link by the same advertiser. Anyone run into this...any problems with that scenario?
