    Hi guys,

Let's say that I'm making a website about socks (auctionsads that is) and it's getting pretty good with visitors etc.

Should I get some google adsense to the website also or should i not? What is your oppinon? Please let me know what you think

    Thanks!

You will get a wide variety of opinions on this topic. I have both running and fine them to be nice compliments. Auctionads offers a 30 day cookie so once you get a click you lock them in for a month. I have found that if you integrate them correctly and don't have them step on each other you can do quite well with each. As with any ad program you still need solid traffic to generate nice revenue.

Intresting point you got there. Imo i really don't know if it's good or not to have these two. But you are going to continue both of them at your site?

I just really don't know where I would put my adsense on the site to not mix it up for the visitors...aslong as they click on something :D or buy something :D

I love both Adsense ads and AuctionAds for the money but I dislike the later for making my webpages slow in downloading. Sometimes AuctionsAds showed blank blocks. They should upgrade their servers.

Hmm, socks and auction ads might not work very well ;) Your question is whether to try google adsense though.. so I'd say go ahead and try it in a few places, or create an algo to show auction ads 50% of the time and adsense 50% so you can test whether it converts into better profits or not. You should also use this same type of A-B testing to determine colors, ad placements and items to display (for auction ads). Testing is a key to increased profits within ad based sites.

Personally I run a site with mostly adsense ads, and a single auctionads column on the right side. The adsense ads give me very good day to day payouts and the auction ads only pays out a couple times a month (but with higher dividends).

I would add some adsense ads there. It's another source of income. Will not hurt to have them.

    Great info guys...

But when you are using both adsense and auctionads together aren't you doing both good and not so good? What I'm thinking of is that adsense pull your visitors away from auctionads and the same thing with auctionads with adsense???

I'm going to try with both of them and just like Klown said I'll try to mix it together good :D
