AdSense White Listing is working.

I turned on the adsense white list and pasted into my 50 or so sites into it and after about a week of monitoring it. It is working. I found out right off the bat that I am getting revenue from 2 websites I sold off in the past and since removed the tracking channels form adsense. Now, that I know I am getting revenue from the sites I just added them to the url channels and now I am tracking the earnings. So far it is around $2 a day. Wee.. I also found a few sites that are running my past scripts illegally. Which was a big shock, but since the content they generate is adsense okay, I went ahead and allowed those sites in my white list and getting revenue from sites I don't even own. :)

Love it. I get around 7$ extra bucks a day from sites I no longer own and didn't even start myself. This is kind of cool in a way. Is this bad of me to keep the money the other web masters are bring to me by not removing my ad blocks when they bought the sites from me?

I did how ever shoot off a email to another site that I don't want on my whitelist and told them to remove my pub-id.

Great little tool they have there. Only wished they allowed cache/translated google proxy pages by default and/or just allow wild carding IP ranges that we want. :(

So what happens when you possibly get banned for invalid clicks on a site that you dont even own ?

That is a good question. I do run that risk if I allow those sites.

it feels good to earn $$$ from sites that you no longer own, but do understand that you do not control those sites anymore either. so anytime a new owner does something in the future that is not OK with AS, YOU are the one getting into trouble. i would ask myself a question, what would be the impact on my earnings (current and future) if i was to get banned by adsense. i would think long term as once banned, its VERY hard to get back in. jusy my 2 cents

I think he is referring to the "Allowed Sites" feature in Google Adsense. It can be found on the Adsense Setup page after you log into your account. You can tell Google which sites are authorized to show your Adsense ads so if someone is maliciously trying to use your ID (or by accident), they will not count towards your stats....
