Do you what are the factors affecting CTR? I actually made a forum thought it will high CTR...what are the other types of site that has high CTR
i think earnings that does not depents on the options you mention. it's only related with the traffic you get
start with a blog, then add a forum on as an extra. e.g. if you have a car blog. make your posting on your blog and sometimes promote your car messageboard community.
I think blogs and cms are pretty high, but it depends on traffic, if you update a blog or cms almost daily, more traffic comes in, and a different range of ads will display therefore i find more clicks. Although my current forum seems to be making a fair amount considering forums dont make alot.
It doesn't matter what you use as long as the content is unique and useful. Hardwork and effort to get traffic matters too. But if I had to choose one I would use CMS and Blogs ..
I've actually been doing good on my blog and considering my niche, that's kind of odd. I don't receive very many clicks but when I do, I can say I do pretty well for myself considering this is more of a residual income and I'm a college student. Ad Sense is really the secondary factor in my blog. My contest is really more important to me than my Ad Sense. If Ad Sense were important for me I'd write about something else!
I've found it easier to get the higherer double-digit CTRs from simple article pages. Blogs are great for getting traffic for your site, but even with the plug-ins that let you stick Adsense blocks in the content itself, I've rarely seen them perform as well. Simple, uncrowded pages work best. Blogs tend to be busy.
