I was wondering what networks performs best on your site... Is it adsense or yahoo publisher network?
I've had both for about 2 years.. I stopped using YPN about a year ago because it was so completly retarded, they could not deliver a targeted ad more than twice in a row. But in the last few days, I tested YPN again because of the problem that Adsense is having with FF referrals. After 3 days of testing YPN again, I had the exact same 3 or 4 unrelated ads on every page - they never changed even after 3 days. The clicks paid pretty well, but since they were totally unrelated to my site, i only got 10 or 20. With Adsense I would have had hundreds in the same amount of time. Unless your site has content related to the 3 or 4 ads they seem to have, YPN is pretty much useless
Despite all the bad things being said about it I'm interested in YPN if given the opportunity. At the moment many outsite the US are not able to participate.
Adsense is definitely the bigger of the networks but I say, don't put all your eggs in one basket and use both. You get different types of traffic from each and although YPN is not going to drive as high a quality of traffic, it's still traffic non the less. My 2 cents, BTW, I'm sorry to hear that Google has done it again and stripped people of their revenue, they remind me of the Guild Wars Developers who would nerf every money earning method for people within the game, so much so that all the people I use to know who played, now don't even bother. I suspect that Google is going to end up doing this enough and people will begin going to other networks, heck, personally I think we are due for a NEW kid on the block anyway and it would be nice to see some other company rise to the occasion. This is precisely why I always recommend not putting all your eggs into one basket....
Adsense is much better based on my experience but you never know when will YPN performs for certain niches till you try
