Anyone trying the new YPN (beta) ppc system? I just started with Adsense and then discovered YPN. Is YPN the same, better?? I don't mean in just ppc payout but over all service and execution. Thanks

I have been with Google for quite some time now, but have recently changed some sites to YPN and found that I am making substantially more with my sites now. Double actually. I have heard varying stories on this subject, but for the most part I hear that most experience increases in revenue. How long this will last is a good question though.

I've actually switched 10 of my sites (I have 12) over to YPN because of the substantial increase as previously noted by Kevin.

The only reason I did not switch the others is because of the lack of relevant ads. YPN doesn't seem to focus on my particular region (at least not yet) for those 2 sites I have.

YPN all the way! :) :)

I have partially switched one of my sites to YPN. I found that having google ads on some pages works better than YPN and Yahoo ads on others works better than adsense. The payment per click seems to be pretty equivalent in my niche, but in certain sections the Yahoo ads just get clicked more.

Yahoo has actually called me a couple of times to see how I liked the service - which for a small site like mine I was very impressed with. Yahoo's payments are 45 days out as opposed to Google's 30 - and I don't know that Yahoo does direct deposit, so there's a further delay.

Firefox causes flickering for google ads in a variety of css scenarios and YPN does not seem to be susceptible to the same problems.

YPN pays much more and it's only USA clicks!
No more 3 cents clicks thank God.
Plus you can call YPN and not have to deal with insane emails.

    Also Fastclick is great!

YPN males about 58% more revenue for me but does it with less clicks than Adsense so YPN is paying a lot more for a click that Adsense.

My experience has been about the same as others here. Although YPN pays more per click, the lack of relevant ads creates lower CTR, and lower overall revenue. However, some pages seem to work better with YPN but I can't determine exactly why. Currently, I have only one page remaining on YPN. All others are back to Adsense. This one page makes about 2000% more money with YPN.

With YPN sometimes you do get ads which have NOTHING to do with you site but be aware that those ads are paying $2-$30 a click where with Google they would be paying 3 cents to 1 or 2 dollars a click...

Sounds like YPN is the way to go, for now. I'm sure the higher payouts will start to equalize with Adsense as soon as they get up to similar speed. These higher payouts (I'm guessing) are to attact new subscribers.

Can I get some more detailed info on what types of keywords work best or worse with YPN. I'm about to change over some of my sites from Google and want to change the right ones! I hate "hit and miss" management! :(

Legal keywords PAY A LOT ON YPN!!!

I was going to do a legal website but it seemed so boring!
(Attorneys please do not bad rep me...)

So here my tip: Anytime you can incorporate an article about soemthing your site is about in legal words do it! Like if your site is about Elvis and elvis gets sued, you will get HIGH PAYING legal keywords from that article. $4-$30+ or - a click.!!!

In some industries, YPN outperform adsense. I have some website had a higher CTR with YPN than adsense. And also, their payout is really unbelivable. Adsense payout is nothing compared to YPN. I had switch my websites to YPN recently.

I received two payments from YPN, once it was $80, second time it was $75, however, since the last time, I've only gotten $13 in clicks even though I've been getting a ton of traffic.

Meanwhile, Google Adsense has gotten $23 in the last 3 weeks on a site that doesn't even display ads on the front page, you have to navigate to the interior to click on anything.

I had about 80 domain names with Adsense advertising and was making about $23/day. Then Adsense pulled the plug because of alleged click fraud which I have no idea what they are talking about and they wont respond to emails. So I switched to YPN and no I am only getting maybe .25¢/day. For me Adsense was more profitable but now YPN is my only option.

Does anyone no of any other options?
