Adsense vs. Kontera - Your Results

How are your ads performing now? Are they up?

 

Just starting with Kontera so I'll be curious to see how they do.

 

I also recently signed up for Kontera!! I am not sure how good they are

Yes - Adsense were unclear on it for some time but eventually decided it was okay.

I have remove my kontera today..My result is too bad..very bad.. 12 click for 37 penny..

Adsense gives me better earning results than Kontera. But Kontera does make a decent adsense replacement if somehow you can't use it.

It is wise to try it out. In my case, it wasn't performing well, although the CTR was good enough.

 

That's the good thing. You can easily make more money using Kontera.

 

AdSense outperforms Kontera by about 15x so far on my sites, though I've only been using Kontera for 1 week and my account manager assured me the first 10 days was a 'tuning' period and I'd see improvements later on.

I'm using both at the same time and generating 2 revenue streams so I don't really care to compare.

 

How much are you generating using Kontera + Adsense together? Is your revenue up by 50% or less?

 

Kontera improves over time. It needs to "learn" what works on your site so you need to leave it for at least 60 days to guague the results.

 

12,000 impressions : 0.6% CTR : $4 average - Very poor in my opinion and Adsense is bringing in 7 times this amount daily. $4 per day isn't even enough to even buy me a coffee.

What are the best ways to improve CTR with Kontera, is it only colour adjustments? Also, why is my CTR so poor, is there a way to improve this, or is it fully dependant on the site's content?

 

Well.. It works almost same as adsense for me.

 

I would say Adsense is about 4 times Better than Kontera (in normal websites)...
But its only Adsense is about 2 times Better than Kontera (in forums)-- because AdSense isn't
my hero when it comes to forums!!

Adsense is better 4-10 X just because ctr on contera is 4-10X X less that on adsense.
But is contera good addition ? Yes it is.

If you have really good content and if people read all text then ctr on contera can be great.
But it can't be greater than 25% adsense earning if you setup adsense corectly.
