    Hi guys,

I've decided to see if i'm missing anything by not using affiliates.

I have a few websites, and i'm going to do a test with one...

I wont give out any specifics about the site, but the niche is medical.
It has statcounter installed and is getting the following:

(Dates from 1st of Jan to 29th of Jan)

    Total Page loads: 7,083
    Total Uniques: 2,610

With Adsense the site got (again 1st of Jan to 29th of Jan)

    $85.XX
    With a CTR of 4.XX%

This is about average for the site, and it's my second most profitable, so i'm going to feel the drop in my adsense cheque this month :( But, hopefully CJ will be posting me one thats bigger or atleast the same (Dont keep all your eggs in one basket, blah, blah)

So, i haven't advertised the site for ages, and wont do anything different next month, i'll just leave it exactly the same as it was this month.

The site has one wide-skyscraper, and 2 Half Banner's. on each page.

I havent even looked into the CJ ad formats yet, but im hoping to swap them for ads the same size, same location, and not add anymore.

I'll look into how the ads work on CJ, and i'll update the site on Sat.

I'll keep posting on here how the sites doing (sales, leads etc)

CJ needs to at least match the $2.XX i get with adsense.

(I just hope when (if) i go back to adense, i get the same as i did before this test)

    Cheers for reading :)

If anyone has any advice or tips, please post. :)

    Thanks.

what i have learnt is CJ is not good if you have low traffic sites. For low and medium traffic sites Adsense is the best. CJ can give you good conversion if you have high traffic site.

    Thats good advice olddocks :)

My site is very low in traffic, but the visitors are all there for 1 exact reason -- it's a very specific site, so im hoping it might just make them buy related products.

I'll see what others have to say -- maybe this site isnt the best one to try this test???

    Cheers again for the reply.
