Adsense Vs Adbrite On My Sites

Hey i earned
$29 for 51000 impressions on Google(this is my first month)

and 35 from 119000 impressions on adbrite


and about $3 from 2000 impressions on paypopup....

Just wanted to ask you guys Is that amount normal for the impressions i got....I had about 200 clicks on google and 504 on adbrite....

 

I would say your clicks are a bit low. Maybe work on blending ads and ad placement ?

I think you should be making more than $66 from 170k impressions but maybe I'm wrong.

 

i don't know about your niche but try kontera instead of adbrite, that might pay little more.

 

I didn't know you were legally allowed to use more than one of these services at once.

Doesn't having three at once make your site feel a little overcrowded?

 

no actually i think u can use them both......But anywayz they r not on the same page(hence the difference in the number of impressions)........nd i make sure i dont have more than 3 ads on a page so tht it doesnt get too crowded.........

 

That makes sense, when you figure out which is the best give me a shout

I couldnt have two at once because Id always think that they might work better on the other pages and I'd get all obsessed about it haha

considering i DESPISE ADSENSE . . . i love G***LE.com BUT HATE ADSENSE !

I would say ANYTHING BUT adsense . .. how ever I would also suggest selling your own ad space . . .
it would be rather easy to sell advertising for your site/s as long as they are a good target audience.

Run a house ad on your site offering placement. Be prepared for a fair amount of hand-holding.

On my sites, 1/3 to 1/2 of revenue comes from sponsors.

 

sorry if I sound a bit slow but Im very new to this, what do you mean by hand-holding?

he might mean having to to do ALOT of work by hand . . . meaning when links expire and what not you have to keep up with them or else they start to get FREE ADVERTISING . . . but you can use openX to handle all that for you . ..

The revenues are okay if you count the impressions only.
If they are from clicks, you need to optimize.

 

ummmm well just 1 fullpage add for a user/24 hours is not tht bad.It earned me 80 cents for 850 impressions.....
