Does AdBrite spider the site to pick up keywords to display relevant ads for their content network like AdSense, or does it just display random ads unless someone purchases ad space?

I find Adbrite to be absolutely useless on my sites, i.e;- I have sites related to animations AdBrite only displays adds on my animation sites relating to Mortgages, Debt Consolidation & Loans :/

Adbrite pays low and does have difficulity in getting relevent ads. If your site gets a lot of visitors however, you can do quite well signing up with them to have advertisers pay you to have text ads listed on your site for good money.

As I am very new in adsense and I am yet to see its effects, I am not going to say adsense is bad. Have to wait and see before making any opinions.

I believe that Adbrite shows contextual ads. Contextual ads are similar to Context Sensitive ads but serve ads based on broad categories, usually chosen at the time of signup, rather than indexing the page for specific keywords. They generally return similar results on all of a site's pages. These are not truly context sensitive as they do not change based on the keywords on a given page.

I don't think AdBrite's network ads are contextual - if they are, they're even poorer than Bidvertisers! They never have any resemblence to the page they are on.

Do most people find that once these "slightly" contextual ads appear, that the ads seldom change? On the same note, do the same ads appear all over the same site?

adbrite doesn't spider any sites. they only displayed their network ads based on the keywords of your ads you stated on the ad configuration.
