Adsense Visual Verification

    Just logged into Adsense and mistyped user id. Was shocked to see a visual verification box appear. Have never had this happen before.

    Its always been there, you probably never mistyped your user id before

    Yea...actually lately, it usually takes 3 typos for the thingy to appear. but back then, one mess up and it pop right up. Or for me atleast. Don't ask how I screwed up logging in 3 times in a row

    I usually get the userid and mess up on password. Today was first time I had seen visual verification.

    Sorry, but what exactly is a "visual verification box". I don't want to try it myself, sounds quite dangerous ;-)

    visual verification box = a small image with a few (3 or 4+) letters on it that you'll have to type in accurately before you can login.. Its like the verification which you can see on many directories to prevent spammers from using automated tools to do the submissions..

    i guess its pretty common now. If blog comments can have it then sure adsense account should definately have it

    BTW, we call them captchas which stands for "completely automated
    public Turing test to tell computers and humans apart" ;-)
