I was looking at my Bidvertiser account options and apparently it gives you the option to approve or deny any potential advertisers. It gives you a nice long list of interested advertisers along with how much money they bid per click on your websites. Now this means you can choose between 1 cent per click and $1 a click if thats the range. Well just as an experiment I erased all the sub 20 cent bids on bidvertiser and did a refresh on my index page and all the bidvertiser ads vanished! In their place I saw a generic "advertise on this site" placeholder. I am not sure there is anything similar to this in adsense, I havent run across it yet. Sad. Now this made me wonder if there is any way to communicate with bidvertiser and Adsense so that you can rotate ads from different companies and display an ad that pays the most somehow? Do programs like Phpadsnew(which I have only heard about so far but will definately check out now) have some advanced ways of checking with google and bidvertiser as to the nature and per click rate of ads that are in the cue? It just seems if thats the case and a person gets a dozen ad companies to publish for, then the per click rate would shoot through the sky.
I don;t think bidvertiser shows revelant ads, I tried it before and all I got was a bunch of casino or finance related ads and my site was a webmaster directory.
