I am in a very unique situation I believe. I am a hotspot operator, and I want to offer free access that includes adsense advertisements. The problem with a hotspot is, all the traffic is routed through a gateway. Which means all the users will have the same IP address. I've heard google adsense uses more than just IP address to identify false clicks, (i.e browser cookies, mac addresses ?) not sure. Can I use adsense for my advertising? Are there other programs or companies that will take me in? (I think CPM will be the best for me)
same,..i have internet access with cluster model,...so..How Google detecting Ip address? Is Google detecting Mac addres to??
actually i don't know about MAC addresses, but i thought browser cookies. I look all on the adsense forums, it sounds like hotspots, internet cafes, dormitories... they all might get their accounts blocked if all their ads are showing to the same IP address? can anyone confirm this? also any suggestions for a different ad network that might work for this? (i have legitimate users making real clicks and ad impressions! just they are from the same IP address)
You are going to have to inform Google of your situation. I can't imagine any ad network paying you for clicks that are all coming from one IP.
do you know how to talk to google? ive looked up and down the forum and there's no way to contact them.
I worry that only adsense team can tell you the answer How adsense team detect the invalid click is a big secret, or many people will trying to find a "good way" to cheat then
I think Mr google make adsense not for that purpose. And in fact Google Adsense is number one PPC so they always win!
