Adsense use guidelines

Hi, I have a website ..http://www.netmoneymaking.biz and am using Google ad sense.But 1 thing i am confused how many ads can be used per page of a website . I know 3 ads but some website i see 4 ads .. please , let me clear .

 

limitation for ad units per page is 6 according to google so don't cross it.

This what they say

Currently, AdSense publishers may place up to three AdSense for content units on one webpage. You may also place a maximum of three link units and two search boxes on each webpage.

 

looking nice is okay

 

i tried placing 4 google adsense in website. but it just only 3 appeared, 1 of the ads was blank

 

Adsense publishers are allowed to publish uptill 3 adsense and sites which are allowed more than three are all premium publishers .

 

I wouldn't go over 3 banks.

 

Even if you put more than 3 ad units it will display only 3.

 

The problem with using too many ad blocks is that the more you have the less per click. It also looks a bit much with too many adds and the reader can get adsense blindness. I would never go with more than 2 blocks and usually just one big block.
