Google killed us with those CPM changes. Things were so good with CPC. We lost 70% of our earnings. Whats the point? What do you think about it?
I've said it before and I wish my opinion would have changed in time, but it's still this one. I left AdSense long time ago because there are lots of changes in their policies and it is hard to reach out to them if you need help with anything. This update only proves my point once again. Fortunately, there are lots of ad networks that work just the same, if not better.
I reccomend you test for yourself since we may be working in different niches or have different traffic configurations which makes my recommendations subjective. Nonetheless, I am currently with Mondiad and have been for a while since I get good rates. I believe they are a good for choice especially for people who are just starting out, since they offer several ad formats and a flexible cashout policy.
Well thats the thing online as you must adapt all the time and never depend on just 1 traffic source or method .I will never put all my eggs in 1 single basket
1. Mediavine or Raptive (formerly Adthrive) both are premium ad networks for higher traffic/quality sites. 2. Ezoic
I serious question the logic behind asking why they did it... if you cut of 50%+ of the earnings of all your 'partners' then it means you will earn 50% more for yourself Google is greedy and they don't hide it anymore. To be honest I think they plan the 'copy' recreate every site on the net with AI and completely remove us as the middleman. After all google is where we get the traffic from and if they cut us of there, it's good night independent if you want to work with another network (no google no traffic...)
If my advice still holds, I recommend MGID. It's much better than Adsense because of its global reach and quality traffic without bots
I completely agree! MGID truly offers great opportunities with its global reach and high-quality traffic. I've also noticed a significant improvement in earnings and audience engagement since switching to it.
This shift can strain many publishers and disrupt their business models. It's essential to adapt and explore alternative revenue strategies to mitigate these losses.
While the recent changes from Google AdSense have created significant challenges, it’s crucial to adapt and explore other monetization options. You can try MGID platform. Engaging with your audience and creating valuable content can help sustain traffic and revenue in the long run. The situation is frustrating, but it's also an opportunity for publishers to rethink their strategies and potentially build more resilient business models. You can try MGID platform.
It’s frustrating when Google makes changes like this, especially after being used to the stability of CPC. Losing 70% of your earnings is tough. They often make these changes based on market demands or optimizing user experience, but it doesn’t make the impact any easier to handle. Have you considered diversifying your income sources to reduce reliance on CPM?
